Job Summary & Responsibilities:

  • The Production Team lead operates and maintain manufacturing production equipment.
  • Utilize production equipment and will rely on skilled talent to operate, troubleshoot and repair as needed.
  • Under general supervision performs all responsibilities necessary to operate, troubleshoot, adjust, repair, and maintain the equipment.
  • Monitor and adjust processes to improve throughput.
  • Perform equipment cleaning & maintenance

 

Qualifications (Preferred, not Required):

  • Experience in a high volume production environment
  • Experience with electronics, preventative maintenance, and equipment repairs
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • All candidates must successfully pass a skills assessment exam and a management interview

 

Job Duties & Requirements

  • Flexibility to rotate between 1st shift and swing shift (see work schedule below)
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Directly supervise employees
  • Help decrease the amount of mistakes by implementing procedures to increase accuracy
  • Ensure the warehouse and campus is kept clean and safe
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Office equipment & software used: Personal computer, printer, copier, Microsoft Office Suite, Corel Draw, lasers, large format printers, cutters, shears, heat benders and other software as required.
  • Coordinate, assist, and monitor the organization of the warehouse in a manner that allows for efficient shipment of material
  • Must have a basic understanding of general industry work and safety practices
  • Must have a can-do attitude and be team oriented
  • Self-motivated and able to follow and communicate instructions independently
  • Manufacturing environment experience a strong plus.

 

Work Schedule

  • 1st Shift: Monday through Friday, 8 hour shift with a start time of either 7 or 8 a.m.
  • 2nd Shift: Sunday through Thursday, 8 hour shift with a start time of 3 p.m.

 

Physical Demands

  • Physical demands include: crouching/kneeling, walking, pulling, light lifting (up to 25 pounds), visual acuity, reaching, pushing, and standing inside an air-conditioned manufacturing environment.
