Finding the perfect candidate for this role is important to us. We are accepting applications from candidates in the Jacksonville, Salem, and Austin areas. Please note this position would require up to 50% travel time between our different locations.

  

What does a UX Product Manager do?

  • There are four primary functions within this role:
    • Design online, innovative shopping experiences
    • Test and analyze customer behavior to better understand how to optimize the experience
    • Researches industry trends and behaviors and recommends new features and functionality
    • Develop and administer reports to help understand site performance to end users and stakeholders

 

Responsibilities:

  •  Design web pages, including layouts, iconography, CTA's and navigation
    • Define best practices and standards for how the site looks, feels, and flows
  • Creates, wireframes, proof of concepts and prototypes to demonstrate future enhancements for stakeholders and end users 
  • Seamless experience across all shopping form factors (e.g. mobile, desktop, tablet)
  • Researches industry trends and behaviors and recommends new features and functionality 
  • Performs rountine multi-variate tests to understand and identify opportunities to improve shopping performance
  • Analyzes click path data to identify opportunities to improve on site behavior and conversions 
  • Leverages tools (heatmaps, a/b testing, site analytics, focus groups) and data to improve user shopping experience 
  • Facilitates design sessions with stakeholders and end users; acts as the integrator between tech and business
  • Develops and administers reports to help understand the site performance to end users and stakeholders 

 

Skills:

  • A seasoned ecommerce individual who has experience creating high performing, well shopped websites
  • An analytical thinker who creates, analyzes and uses data to improve shopping behaviors
  • An individual who is able to identify industry trends and opportunities in ecommerce and tailor them our business
  • Someone who can inherently see “store flow” and put pen to paper 
  • Someone who can communicate well between business and tech (including creative thinkers vs. logical thinkers)
  • An individual who can set and adhere to basic standards, and not sacrifice best practices for “cool and innovative’
  • Someone who thinks outside of the box and will try/test new ideas
  • An individual who thinks about the customers experience first

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Information Technology or Business Administration 
  • 3+ years of experience as website user experience practitioner in an ecommerce environment
  • Expertise in information architecture, high-fidelity functional prototypes, wireframing, user testing, web analytics, and the respective tools used for those
  • 2+ years working with multivariate testing tools (e.g. Optimizely, VWO, hotjar, etc.)
  • Proven experience using analytical tools such as Google Analytics and Omniture
  • Proficient in HTML and CSS
  • Critical thinking and exceptional problem-solving skills 
  • Proactive, resourceful and highly motivated with good communication skills 
  • Capable of organizing and presenting highly technical concepts to various stakeholders 
  • Ability to balance multiple projects in an organized manner 
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments
